St. Johns Community Clothing Closet
The community clothing closet is a free resource to North Portland community members. We are open on the 3rd Thursday of every month. We have clothing for infants to adults, shoes, coats, purses, new undergarments and some accessories for all genders in a wide range of sizes. All community members in need are welcome to shop with us and take home 20+ free items each visit.
The #4, #16 and #75 Trimet bus lines serve the downtown St. Johns neighborhood within easy walking distance of our office, which is across from Signal Pizza.
How to get involved
We need clothing donations!
We are accepting new and lightly used infant, youth and adult clothing items. Our biggest needs right now are men's clothing, plus size clothing (men's and women's) and new undergarments (socks, underwear and bras).
Please wash, fold and put into a bag before donating. We do not accept ripped or stained items or used undergarments and socks.
Donations can be dropped off at the St. Johns Center for Opportunity (8250 N. Lombard St.) between 9 am-5 pm, Tuesday-Friday. To schedule an evening drop off, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
