Community Building Events

We connect neighbors to one another and facilitate a sense of place and inclusion through community events

National Night Out

This event happens annually on the first Tuesday in August. This nationwide event is an opportunity to bring neighbors together for community building activities. Every year we organize a unique and fun theme. In 2018, we hosted a “Party in the Plaza” featuring a DJ, bubble machine, and food vendors.

St. Johns Farmers Market

The St. Johns Farmers Market (SJFM) supports a local, sustainable food supply while providing opportunity for emerging farmers, contributing to the health of all local residents, encouraging cross-cultural connections and dialogue, and enhancing the community and business vitality of St. Johns. We are open every Saturday starting the 3rd Saturday in May through the end of October.
