Get R Done Mini Training workshops
We've created these from 3 understandings:
1. NET/CERTs don't have their basic medical skills mastered.
2. All our neighbors likely do not know these skills.
3. We've had many requests for shorter evening trainings.
Mike Stump will be our trainer this evening. He has worked extensively with the Beaverton CERT. He is an EMT, excellent trainer and will be covering for Harold Crawford for the Wilderness 1st Aid training. He will also teach from the position of: what to do when you won't have definitive medical help in the first 24 hours.
Who: This is open to all citizens no matter where you live or who you are.
What: #4 will be a short teaching/refresher on head to toe body check.
Why: Everyone needs this skill so they can feel empowered & help those around them in the event they find themselves in any type of disaster.
This is not an offical NET meeting, but is inclusive for all NET/CERT/HAMs
