The St. Johns Center for Opportunity (SJCO) will host the monthly free clothing closet for North Portland community members in need at their offices (8250 N. Lombard St). The closet will be open the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2 pm-7 pm. The community clothing closet has clothing in a range of sizes for infants to adults, as well as shoes, coats, purses and some accessories available for all genders. Any community member in need is welcome to shop at the clothing closet. Each visitor gets to pick any 15 items (limit one coat and 2 pairs of shoes per person).
The #4, #16 and #75 Trimet bus lines serve the downtown St. Johns area within easy walking distance of the SJCO offices, which is across from Signal Pizza. You do not need to RSVP to attend this event. Dogs are not allowed in the clothing closet unless they are registered service animals. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times during the clothing closet.
