St Johns Food Share is currently seeking an Office manager to provide administrative support to multiple departments, and answer to the St Johns Food share board.

Part time, 20 Hours per week

Compensation 13.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Application window, 3-4-2019 to 3-15-2019

Responsibilities of Office Manager/Administrative Assistant:

Manage database records.

General reception duties.

Manage incoming calls and correspondence.

Respond to member inquiries.

Maintain office environment, including supplies and office equipment in an often chaotic and face paced environment.

Track business expenses.

Help manage calendars and events.

Create and disburse documents and presentation materials as requested.

Maintain filing systems, which include HR and other confidential records.

Assist with budget and account analysis and projections.

Act as go to person for network support.

Make copies, run errands, and other duties as assigned.

Able to bend, twist and lift 30 pounds.

Ability to attend monthly board, and yearly member meetings.

General understanding of social media and ability to update accounts as needed.

Maintains checkout and member dues by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Help with volunteer tracking and reporting, including data entry, recording and receiving membership fees.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

Associate or bachelors degree and/or certification in office occupations/technology preferred.

2 years of general office or secretarial experience or equivalent education and experience required, with special emphasis on non profits and volunteer run organizations.

Strong MS Office Suite experience, with proficiency in Excel and Word required and POS systems knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact with all members of organization and people from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.

Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Can work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to pass personal and criminal background checks.
