CDL Driver - Calbags, NW Industrial Area - Full-time

Job Summary: Roll-off Drivers and Tractor trailer Drivers are responsible for the hauling of scrap

materials from large, high volume manufacturing customers, as well as from residential and other

commercial customers. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on roll-off delivery and

tractor trailer hauling routes. Driver must be able to operate trucks with automatic and manual

transmissions as well as PTO systems.

Requirements:

 Valid insurable Oregon State Class A Driver’s License. Class B license acceptable with the ability

to upgrading to a Class A license within 90 days of hire.

 Valid Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.

 Experience truck driving/maneuvering skill a plus (1-2 years)

 Operate both Automatic and Manual Trucks as assigned. Including but not limited to Straight

Trucks, Roll Offs, Tractor Trailers and Panel Trucks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other may be assigned as needed.

 Operate all Calbag trucks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal

regulations (Including DOT) and company policies.

 Provide efficient roll off delivery and removal services to customers on assigned route(s) or by

work order.

 Follow customers’ safety protocols and standards

 Load and unload trucks in a safe manner consistent with safety operation protocols.

 Document bar codes of Boxes during deliveries and pick ups

 Personally load and unload truck when needed with proper equipment following safety

protocols.

 Deliver loads paperwork to the appropriate personnel i.e. Forklift driver, Scale manager, etc.

 Safely store trucks and all equipment used at the end of day

 Responsibly lock and set alarms of building at end of shift as needed.

 Perform warehouse work when needed.

Hours of Work and Working Conditions

Full time shift from 6 am – 2:30 pm, daily overtime as needed and available for out of town (1-2 day)

deliveries as assigned.

Standing 20%, Walking 10%, Sitting 70%

Ability to work in warehouse environment (dirt, noise, rain, sun)

Punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Fast pace environment

This is a Union position under a CBA.
