Key Responsibilities: This part-time, temporary position will work an event-driven schedule, part-time; hours will vary depending the needs of the work group. Temporary employees may not work more than 1,040 hours in a 12-month period.

Be a part of the West Coast's largest multipurpose facility and help us shine! The Expo Center is seeking an enthusiastic Utility Lead who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced and friendly, event-driven environment!

The Expo Center Utility Lead serves as a lead employee providing direction to a crew of set-up and housekeeping maintenance (custodial) employees.

Duties also include: Performing routine clean-up and set-up tasks involved in facility or grounds maintenance. The Utility Lead spends a mixed amount of time on indoor duties and on outdoor duties. This position reports to the Expo Operations Manager.

Salary: Hires typically are placed in the lower to mid-range of the salary, depending on experience and other considerations; $18.54 hr.

Qualifications: • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position.

• Possession of, and the ability to maintain a valid driver's license

• Possession of, or the ability to obtain the following: 
o forklift operator's license
o aerial work platform certification
o cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate

Preferred Qualifications:
• State public pesticide applicator license

Salary/Wage: $18.54 – $23.46 hourly
