The Portland Expo Center is the West Coast's largest multi-purpose facility. The 53 acre campus boasts five spacious exhibit halls totaling over 333,000 square feet and ten varied meeting rooms. Conveniently located off Interstate 5 between downtown Portland and Vancouver, Washington, the Expo Center is also only minutes from Portland's city center as well as the Portland International Airport. Each year, the Portland Expo Center hosts over 120 events and welcomes close to 500,000 people to our facility. Key Responsibilities: Come be a part of our Expo team and help us shine! The Expo Center is seeking multiple enthusiastic applicants who enjoy working part-time in a fast-paced and friendly event-driven environment. Custodians will work more hours during our busy seasons and less hours during the not so busy summer season.

In addition to performing on-call event set-up and being responsible for overall cleanliness of our Expo Center for various events, our custodians are relied upon to act as goodwill ambassadors of our venue. Expect to interact with a large volume of guests who will look to you for everything from help with directions, venue information, recommendations for restaurants and local transportation assistance and answering the most popular question "Where are the restrooms?"

Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience in facility cleaning or janitorial work, or an equivalent combination of education.
• Experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the successful performance of the essential job duties.

Salary/Wage: $13.44 - $17.48 hourly
