Our core areas of work include economic empowerment, building community resilience, and neighborhood placemaking.
St. Johns Farmers Market
The 2019 season is in full swing! We have an amazing line-up of vendors this season, including arts & craft vendors.
Free Clothing Closet
Our community clothing closet serves any neighbor in need. We are open twice a month and offer clothing in all sizes (baby to adult). Have clothes you want to donate? Great! We’ll take them.
Give-tober Collection Drive!
We are collecting hygiene supplies and healthy food from October 21 - November 1 for our Clothing Closet and Food Pantry programs.
Food Access Programs
Addressing hunger and food insecurity in North Portland is a core part of our work. We have a number of programs that we offer under this umbrella, including the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.
We are collecting shift information from all the businesses in the Rivergate Area to help us advocate to Trimet for increased service on Bus Line 11.
September 20 Art Walk Event
Mark your calendars for Friday, September 20th. We’re organizing our quarterly Art Walk event in downtown St. Johns from 5-8 p.m. It’s going to be a fun and festive evening!
Empowering neighbors. Creating change.
Our organization has been working to spark equitable community development in North Portland since 2010.
