Support our mission to strengthen community well-being by increasing access to fresh, local food; nurture vendor success; and operate a welcoming, sustainable organization that supports the needs, values, and diversity of St. Johns.

Volunteer at the Farmers Market

We can always use help setting up and breaking down on farmers market days! Set up and breakdown involves picking up tents, tables, signs and other supplies to pack onto rolling carts, and rolling the carts over to our storage space across the street. Teamwork is used for heavy items! Set-up takes place from 7:15 - 9 a.m.; breakdown takes places from 1:45 - 3 p.m.

Market is open from the first Saturday in May through the third Saturday in November, plus a holiday market in December.

Volunteer at our Native Plant Garden

The 2200 sq ft native garden that borders our farmers market site was installed in 2023. Since then, the plants have grown and become more resilient! This community garden cleans and enriches the air, soil, and water, while providing food and habitat for pollinators. This garden supports our organization’s mission of promoting climate resilience in our community.
