As a part of Prosper Portland’s neighborhood based initiative to help unemployed and underemployed residents, a Workforce Navigator from PCC has teamed up with the St. Johns Center for Opportunity to provide individualized job coaching for St. Johns and Cathedral Park residents. Mulu Terefe offers in-person and virtual meetings.

Mulu Terefe offers free open office hours every Wednesday at St. Johns Library from 10am-2pm in the Meeting Room. When you enter the library, the Meeting Room is on the left-hand side behind the front desk. Just ask library staff if you need help finding the room.

Workforce Navigation services include:

1. Individualized career counseling and coaching

2. Resume writing and review

3. Job search and application assistance

4. Referrals to GED and ESL resources

5. Referrals to free training or scholarship opportunities through WorkSource

6. Assistance with accessing WorkSource Services
