NoPo Pickleball Fundraising Mixer for Pakistan Flood Relief
Play some pickleball with your friends from North Portland while raising money for a good cause!
About this Event
Suggested Donation: $50.00 per person per session.
Overview:
Join us for an afternoon/evening of friendly pickleball as North Portland raises money for victims of flooding in Pakistan.
We'll have two sessions: Open and Challenge. Each session will be two hours of doubles points-based ladder pickleball. Every 20 minutes the team with more points moves up a court, and the team with fewer points moves down a court.
You can sign up as an individual (and we'll team you up with someone) or as a team.
You can sign up for one or both sessions (as long as you meet the criteria).
If you don't have a paddle, we'll find you one!
W e'll have some snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) available for purchase.
Session 1: OPEN (All Levels) from 2:15-4:45PM
Session 2: CHALLENGE (Skill Level 3.5+) from 5:00-7:30PM
The Cause:
Flooding across Pakistan since June 2022 has affected at least 33 million people. The government has declared a national emergency as the floods killed more than 1,200 people and destroyed homes, crops, and livestock. At least 30 million people are in need of shelter.
The Charity:
Pakistan Flood Relief Fund by GlobalGiving. Your donation to the Pakistan Flood Relief Fund will provide immediate and long-term relief in affected communities.

This is a community fundraising event. We'll play by standard pickleball rules. Our goal is for you to have fun and play some pickleball. If you are looking for something overtly competitive, this is not an event for you.
