St. Johns Boosters

Volunteers are needed for a variety of events to include helping setup/take down events, working at tables during events, and handing out candy during the annual trick-or-treat event!


St. Johns Food Share

Hours: Monday and Friday from 10:00am - 4:00pm

Stop in during business hours to volunteer and serve neighbors in your community needing food!


ST. Johns emergency Preparedness Community Initiative

For information about volunteering to help St. Johns develop an emergency preparedness plan, please contact Donna L Cohen: dcohen@hevanet.com. Her group often needs help with miscellaneous tasks including passing out flyers and civic action. They will be volunteering at the Jazz Festival and other community events!


 
 

Grace Christian Fellowship - Clothing Closet

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00am to 2:00pm (Contact before volunteering!)

The clothing closet is seeking volunteers to help with putting away donations as they come in and sorting clothes. You can volunteer weekly, monthly, or drop in for a day!

 

 

Friends of Baltimore Woods

Friends of Baltimore Woods are the caretakers of the corridor between the Willamette River and St. Johns. Get outside, help conserve North Portland’s natural beauty, and learn about our local ecosystem!

 

 

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Hours: Available after participating in a training session

Neighbors Helping Neighbors offers trash collection for houseless encampments to enhance the livability of North Portland neighborhoods for both housed and unhoused community members, with the aim to “build bridges between” these groups. Contribute to this invaluable effort, on the ground or behind the scenes, by signing up for the training session!
